Hawks are 6-0 behind Wong-Shasteen's 2 Home Runs, Brycen Denton's Complete Game Shutout

Brycen Denton had all the right stuff on Wednesday for Hardin Valley Hawks, allowing zero runs and besting Heritage by a score of 10-0. Archer Wong-Shasteen started off the bottom of the first with a solo homer.

Hardin Valley tallied four runs in the second inning. Trent Tilley and Trenton Bolding each recorded RBIs in the inning, with the rest of the runs coming off Wong-Shasteen's 2nd homer of the game.

Denton surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out 12 and walking one for his second complete game effort in as many games.

Zach Hodge was on the pitcher's mound for Heritage. Hodge lasted three innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out one and walking one. Zach Hollman threw one inning in relief.

Wong-Shasteen went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hardin Valley in hits. Hardin Valley was flawless in the field and committed zero errors.

The Hawks are back in action on Friday in Johnson City, TN against Science Hill High School at 6:00!
