Adam Baker throws Complete Game shutout, Hawks take the Win

Adam Baker had all the right stuff on Saturday for Hardin Valley Academy, allowing zero runs and besting Cleveland by a score of 1-0

The pitching was strong on both sides. Baker struck out four, while Bevan sat down eight.

The Hawks got on the board in the first inning when Austin King singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Baker surrendered zero runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.

Bevan led things off on the hill for Cleveland. Bevan allowed six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

King led Hardin Valley Academy with three hits in three at bats. The Hawks were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. King had the most chances in the field with six.
